Director: Benjamin Wolff
This is a corporate film for the high-performance glass manufacturer SCHOTT, showcasing not only the numerous sectors the company works in but also the variety of products it offers and the host of different uses they can be put to. One such example is the world's largest movable telescope – the Gran Telescope Canarias – which contains an impressive 11-metre mirror that was produced by SCHOTT.
Filming the telescope necessitated shooting on location in La Palma (Canary islands), which meant having to find inspiration for all the other scenes in the film on the island as well. Our director Benjamin Wolff skilfully linked the various different scenes together to create a distinctive style that effectively captures the broad spectrum of SCHOTT's business activities.
